Theft by taking:

May 4 — Just after 5 p.m., deputies responded to Fox Road in Richmond Hill after a man reported several items missing from his home, including a ring and a watch. Three tires were taken from his yard and gas was siphoned from his truck.

Unlawful conduct

May 5 — Around 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to JR Drive in Ellabell after a man there called 911 six times and used profane language toward the dispatchers. Deputies spoke with the man, who was uncooperative and intoxicated. He later said his emergency was that he was scared of his roommate due to mental abuse. The roommate told deputies the man was extremely drunk from drinking half a bottle of liquor.

DUI

May 6 — After being flagged down about a truck driving very slowly and running off the road, deputies stopped a Brooklet driver on Highway 80 around 8 p.m. After pulling onto the shoulder, the man began to back up, forcing the deputy to move. Deputies could smell alcohol and saw a beer spilled in the passenger seat. The driver had also wet his pants. Deputies had to help the man stand up after he stepped out of the vehicle and could not perform a field sobriety test because he was so drunk.
