A crash Friday night on Isle of Wright Road apparently killed one person, but few details were available and there has been no official confirmation.
The crash occurred about 9 p.m. near Jones Creek Park and involved a bicyclist and car. The Georgia State Patrol reportedly is investigating, but no one with the Hinesville Post could be reached for comment Saturday or Monday.
Numerous residents of the area report they had been told the bicyclist died after being flown by air-ambulance to a Savannah hospital.
