Richmond Hill's Ameris Bank held a fundraiser that raised more than $230 for the United Way, and as a result Business Banker Chris Raiford was "gifted" with a pie in the face Friday, Aug. 16 from Branch Manager Sarah Lippert.

Branch Team members Kristi Flores, Stacey Wilder, and Brandie Williams helped capture the pie in the face event on camera.  The fundraiser included a bake sale with donated items from local businesses that sold for $1 each.  

Local business who contributed were:  McDonalds of Richmond Hill, Lovebird Cookies, J’s Sweets by Jeremiah Mack, All Things Chocolate, Sweet Bliss Bakery by Barbara Cline, Plums, Little Caesars, Papa Johns, as well as baked goods made by the Ameris Bank team.  Contributions from the bake sale were more than $200.
