The Bryan County Bark Park has rescheduled its Yappy Hour Hawaiian fancy-dress dog competition to Wednesday, June 25, at Fish Tales Restaurant at Fort McAllister.

The event’s original date earlier this month had to be rescheduled due to thunderstorms. The new date also is weather-dependent.

Southern Eagle will do a beer-tasting for attendees.

Dogs will be able to have special doggie smoothies in tropical honey and peanut-butter blueberry flavors for $3 for small and $4 for large cups. There will be free giveaways from Fish Tales, Southern Eagle and the Bryan County Bark Park Association, as well as an opportunity to enter a dog in the best-Hawaiian-costume competition, with prizes awarded by the judges at 8 p.m.
