Police blotter: Guns, jewelry stolen

The following reports are on file in the Bryan County Sheriff’s Department:

March 5 – Four shotguns, a pistol, a gun case, a large hunting knife, $300 in cash, two jewelry boxes and various jewelry items were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Strathy Hall Drive near Richmond Hill. The incident occurred sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. March 5. The suspect used a hammer that was sitting on the back porch to break out glass from a back door, and then ripped out metal from the door to gain entry, a report stated.
