Pembroke announced its new website is up and running. Included on the new site is information about city government including the city council, boards, authorities, agendas and minutes from council meetings, as well as the municipal code, according to a press release.
A second category lists each of the city departments and provides the responsibilities of each. The “Living in Pembroke” category provides links to area attractions, schools, churches, and city recreation events.
To learn more about Pembroke, the category “About Pembroke” provides up to date demographics of the city, a history of the founding of Pembroke, tax facts, and an interactive map. Visitors can check on employment opportunities with the city, find out important contacts in Pembroke, and be linked to local businesses. Other features include the ability for residents to pay utility bills online as well as request a specific service of the city.
