Two convicted felons from Pembroke, Jerome Lee, 37, and Javarra Vickers, 32, were arrested late Thursday in Savannah following a joint investigation by the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team and the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office.

According to information from the CNT, the men were suspected of distributing drugs in Bryan and Chatham counties. The CNT and Chatham County Sheriff’s Office contacted the men at a business located at 3802 Ogeechee Road in Savannah. When the men saw officers approaching in a marked vehicle with emergency lights activated, they attempted to flee the parking lot in a vehicle but hit a CNT vehicle. The men were taken into custody without further incident. Vickers was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

Officers discovered crystal meth, marijuana, prescription pills and synthetic marijuana in their vehicle, along with a firearm. Lee and Vickers face multiple felony charges, including trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
