School officials say Bryan County High School band director Wade Eggleston has resigned.
Eggleston left the job for personal reasons, according to Bryan County Schools Superintendent Dr. Paul Brooksher, who said a search for his replacement is already under way.
“Mr. Eggleston resigned for personal reasons and we wish him much success in his future endeavors. Our Bryan County High Band Program is comprised of 20 students and is being supported by other band instructors and music teachers throughout our district,” Brooksher said. “Currently, the position is posted and we are committed to finding a candidate who will grow the program to new heights.”
Eggleston’s resignation was approved by the school board at its Oct. 16 work session in Black Creek.
