Bryan County Bark Park, located at Henderson Park, is asking residents and users to help the board make important decisions about the park’s amenities.
A survey has been set up to determine priorities for the Bark Park’s maintenance and improvements. Responses from the community will help the board of directors decide how to best utilize the limited funds available which have been raised through the generous support of the community.
The survey can be completed online by visiting www.surveymonkey.com/r/WCM6PF9. Printed surveys will also be available for completion at the park. The survey asks users what they like about the park, what improvements they would like to see and specifically about the pond located in the park.
The Bark Park volunteer board wants to maintain and improve this important community facility where dogs can run free, but it is important to the nonprofit organization that funds raised are spent wisely. Surveys should be completed by May 20. One participant will be chosen at random afterward to receive a bag of Bark Park merchandise.
“This park would not exist without our community’s support and the help of Bryan County, so it is vital to our board that we get input from the people who utilize the park,” said Board President Renee Laurie. “We are continuously grateful for the support we receive from our wonderful community and want to ensure that we can continue to provide a well-kept facility where dogs can run free and off leash.”
