The Bryan County Bark Park will host the second annual “Holiday in the Park” 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 19. The Bark Park is located inside DeVaul Henderson Park.

The event is for dogs and their families to enjoy fun holiday festivities with other furry friends. Dogs, cats and children will be able to have their photos taken with Santa throughout the day.  Microchipping, nail clipping and ear cleaning will be provided by Cedar Animal Hospital and attendees are invited to participate in the ‘Reindog Parade’ at no one with prizes for the best holiday costumes. Beverages and snacks will also be available.

A raffle drawing will be held at 3 p.m. for a CBC stand-up paddle board donated by SUP It & Sea. Raffle tickets will cost $5 each or 5 tickets for $20 and are now available. Proceeds will help pay for drainage improvements and maintenance at the park.

“We are so excited to have scheduled a second annual Holiday in The Park,” Bark Park President Wendy Bolton said. “This is such a fun event for families and we hope for great weather and lots of community support.”
