Karen Handel, Republican gubernatorial candidate in the primary runoff election, addresses a small crowd Friday morning during a meet and greet at Beef O’ Brady’s in Richmond Hill.
Handel spoke at length on the importance of economic development across Georgia and also discussed many other issues, including job creation, transportation, education, ethics reform, immigration and more.
Handel faces Nathan Deal for the Republican nomination for governor in the August primary runoff election.
Early voting begins next week on both ends of the county. Voters can cast a ballot between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the voter registration office in Pembroke and at the Bryan County Administrative Complex south of Richmond Hill.
