Georgia Tech summer program for young students offered
Ge Tech summer program

The Center for Education Integrating Science Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC) at the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus will be offering two weeks of in-person student programs this summer for rising 3rd – 12th graders alongside a full summer of virtual programming.

Campus will be open for students to participate in weeklong STEAM programs from July 12 – July 23 with adherence to all COVID-19 policies and procedures in accordance with safety guidelines from local, state, and federal health officials. The option of virtual programs will remain, and these online summer programs will run over six weeks from June 14 – July 23.

These high-quality and uniquely themed summer programs are designed to enhance and encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for science, mathematics, engineering, art, and technology. During each week, students will experience different themed programming in areas such as robotics, video game design, coding, 3D-design and more.

July’s in-person programs will run from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and parents/guardians will be invited to a student showcase on the final day. Additionally, all

programs will include a meaningful take-home component so that participants can continue to expand their STEM/STEAM knowledge after their summer experience with Georgia Tech-Savannah.

“We have hosted several virtual CEISMC programs throughout the COVID-19 pandemic which brought our high quality STEM/STEAM programs into participants homes, but we are very excited to offer flexibility this summer with the choice of both in-person and virtual programs. We wanted to give parents and students the option to return to in-person summer programming, and we are looking forward to engaging with the students on and off campus this year,” said Timothy Cone, CEISMC Program Director at the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus.

Registration per participant is $175-$250.
