As part of an exercise taking place, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield have increased force protection measures, according to an announcement Thursday by the post's Public Affairs Office.

Installation entry points have implemented stricter security measures, PAO said. Soldiers, family members, civilian employees and visitors should anticipate delays at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield entry points and increased emergency vehicle traffic on the installation because of the force protection increase.

The exercise will takeThursday and Friday. Role players will take part in what PAO is calling suspicious activity.

PAO asked that any suspicous activity on Fort Stewart be reported to the Military Police desk at 767-4895/2965 or Hunter Army Airfield Military Police at 315-6133/6134.
