Falcon Group's Back to School event was big success
back to school event

Organizers of the The Falcon Group's Back To School event said the turnout on July 31 was "phenomenal."

Held in the parking lot of Thrive Early Learning Center at 465 Harris Trail Road, the group reached out to communities near Richmond Hill High School with the distribution of backpacks and school supplies.

The group thanked it's sponsors for the day's success. -- Food Lion, whose store manager, Rasharn Ware, made sure as a sponsor there was enough food for everyone,  the owners of Thrive Early Learning Center who provided the venue and McDonald's.

Speakers and organizations included Dr. Samose Mays, Councilman Robbie Ward, Chosen Liberty Corvette Club, Soldiers United Motorcycle Club and others from the community who came out to volunteer.

The highlight of the event was the distributing of backpacks with school supplies to many of the families of Ashton and The Villas at Richmond Hill and the drive-in style movie showing of "Space Jam 2".
