Development Authority of Bryan County seeks input for new community marketing initiative
Bryan County seal 2016

The Development Authority of Bryan County (DABC) has engaged a consulting firm to develop a strategic marketing plan for the DABC. The planning process includes both an internal and external marketing survey to better understand how key audiences view Bryan County as a place to live and work.

The DABC is seeking input from residents and businesses in the community from an online survey, found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BryanGACommunity. The survey opened on June 24 and closes on July 19, and anyone who lives or works in Bryan County is invited to take the survey. The DABC asks that survey participants please share the survey with family, friends, and colleagues who also live or work in Bryan County.

The purpose of the marketing survey is to allow residents and workers the opportunity to provide constructive feedback when it comes to promoting marketing and industrial development in Bryan County. The DABC is looking for honest feedback from the entire community to help create marketing messages, materials, and methods that are attractive to key audiences and authentically represent Bryan County.

“As the leader of industrial development efforts in Bryan County, our job is to help ensure our residents have access to the best job opportunities. We value our community’s contributions to this important initiative and are hopeful for the future opportunities it will bring to Bryan County,” commented DABC CEO Anna Chafin.

The DABC has brought on Avalanche Consulting, a national economic development consulting firm, to lead the strategic planning process. By conducting this survey Avalanche will ensure that recommendations in the Strategic Marketing Plan truly reflect the assets and personality of Bryan County.

“We are excited to be guiding the DABC and its many stakeholders in a strategic exercise to refine its marketing approach. Our goal is to maximize the DABC’s ability to communicate the business case for Bryan County while also creating a community that is informed and engaged in its economic future,” said Jennifer Vernon from Avalanche Consultant.
