COVID-19 update: 28 confirmed cases in Bryan County

There are 28 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bryan County, the Coastal Health District said Thursday night.


Two Bryan County residents have died of the virus. Both men were in the 60s and had underlying health issues, according to officials

As of 7 p.m., April 9th, there are 246 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in residents of the Coastal Health District and 7 deaths.


Cases by county:

  • Bryan: 28 cases, 2 deaths
  • Camden: 19 cases
  • Chatham: 131 cases, 4 deaths
  • Effingham: 19 cases, 1 death
  • Glynn: 31 cases
  • Liberty: 14 cases*
  • Long: 1 cases
  • McIntosh: 3 cases

*The Liberty County case count was reduced by 1 due to a correction of a previous clerical error in the database.
