Bryan County Emergency Services received a $1,500 donation from COUNTRY Financial, and its representatives Wayne and Jonathan Kitchens, as part of Operation Helping Heroes.

The two presented a check to Deputy Chief Michael Dick on April 25  to assist with the purchase of new Technical Rescue Equipment.

“Our firefighters go above and beyond, serving others selflessly and providing an invaluable service to our community,” said Wayne Kitchens. “COUNTRY Financial is proud to support our first responders, active duty military and veterans through Operation Helping Heroes donations in the communities we serve.”

COUNTRY Financial initiated Operation Helping Heroes in 2015 to support non-profit events and programs that benefit active duty service members, veterans and their families. More recently, Operation Helping Heroes expanded to provide support for emergency first responders. In 2019, COUNTRY Financial and its financial representatives have already provided more than $500,000 in donations to first responders and service members.
