A debate between the candidates for Georgia’s Congressional District 12 will be online this evening.

Businessman Rick Allen, the Republican nominee, is trying to unseat incumbent Democrat John Barrow in the district just north of Georgia’s 1st, which includes Liberty, Long and Bryan counties.

The debate will run from 7-8 p.m. and will be at Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro.

It is sponsored by OTC and the Statesboro Herald. It will be streamed on the Statesboro Herald’s site, statesboroherald.com.
