Mayor Russ Carpenter stated, “While we recognize all those who received a specific recognition today, the point must be made that all of our employees, our valued team members, are equally as loyal, diligent, and steadfast.  Covid has been a trial, to say the least.  But at no point over the last 18 months has the City failed in any of its vital responsibilities.  Water continued to flow, fires were extinguished, both real and figurative, roadways and residents kept safe, budgets administered, and thousands of questions answered.  This is because of all of our front-line employees who, despite personal and professional upheaval, health issues, and frustrations, kept us online, going forward, doing their job with loyalty.”
