A new restaurant opened in Pembroke this week - the Whistlestop Café at 78 W. Bacon St. The location may be familiar to residents, but changes have been underway.
Building owner Buddy Polk has put lots of work in improvements to the building, both inside and outside. Jenny Coleman, Linda Adams and Sissy Blair have worked tirelessly to come up with a menu to everyone’s liking and to bring in personnel that will fit into their high standard of service.
The Pembroke Downtown Development Authority congratulates the owner and operators with hopes of much success.
