Richmond Hill pet boutique PawParazzi recently announced new ownership and a new location at Parkers Square, 11408 Ford Ave.
British-born Jane Honnor and her husband, Alex, bought the business from founders and local business people Sherri and Butch Broome.
Honnor, who worked in the pet business in the United Kingdom, brings her retail experience and passion for pets to PawParazzi’s new, larger premises at Parker’s Square.
She has a pet Cavalier spaniel, Jaffa, who is named after a popular British cookie. The pair are at the store from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Honnor said she has big plans for PawParazzi’s future.
“We will still be stocking the great range of quality pet food, treats, accessories, clothing, gifts and cards that customers expect from PawParazzi, but we are adding new ranges every day and encourage every dog and cat owner to come and see what we have to offer,” she said.
“We all fell in love with Richmond Hill — the people, the environment, the lifestyle and the climate — so when the opportunity arose for us to buy PawParazzi, it was like a dream coming true.”
