Co-owners Lisa Ferguson and Vernon Ferguson opened the Pembroke Seafood Market last week.
Helping with the ceremonial ribbbon cutting were Laverne Scott with the Downtown Development Authority, Louis Ferguson, Mercedes Ferguson, Pembroke Mayor Judy Cook and North Bryan Chamber of Commerce President Mary Warnell.
The market, located at 218 N. Main St., is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Flounder, blue crab, whiting, shrimp, oysters and more are available, along with other items upon request. On Friday and Saturday, the market will also offer prepared Lowcountry boil.  For more information, call the market at 653-3474.
