New salon opens in Pembroke Pembroke Mayor Judy Cook, left, North Bryan Chamber President Mary Warnell, Jeffery Byer and Gene Conley cut the ribbon Sept. 7 on Jeffery Byer Hair Pembroke's newest business, Jeffery Byer Hair, has opened. The new salon is located next door to the Painted Pony Cafe and Coastal Critter Care.
