Richmond Hill may soon have some new retail shopping space located at the corner of Ford Avenue and Hill Avenue.

This piece of property was the subject of discussion Monday at a public workshop held by the Richmond Hill City Council and Richmond Hill Planning Commission.

According City Manager Chris Lovell, the owners of All Things Chocolate in Richmond Hill would like to develop a 9,000-square-foot retail plaza.

No action was taken Monday, but Lovell said plans could go before the planning commission and the City Council next month.
