Area residents interested in firearms have a new outlet.

Pinault’s Defensive Solutions has opened at 3766 Highway 17, suite 103, in Richmond Hill, offering a variety classes at its private or in-home, as well as sales of guns and accessories.

Founder Mike Pinault is an National Rifle Association instructor in pistol, rifle, shotgun and home firearm safety. His career in law enforcement has included time with with U.S. Customs and Border Protection as well as the Savannah and Richmond Hill police departments.

"At Pinault’s, our philosophy is to prepare students to defend their lives and the lives of their loved ones," Pinault said. "Safety and attention to detail are the top priority, and everyone at Pinault’s Defensive Solutions is committed to making sure that clients get the most out of their training."

He is also a licensed federal firearms dealer. Pinault said he is happy to help customers select weapons and personalized gear that best suits their needs

"We have inventory immediately available," he added, "but if we get a client request for a certain type of ammunition, accessory or gun, we can locate and acquire it."
