Richmond Hill resident Mark Thomas, general manager of Thunderbird Inn in Savannah, has been named to Savannah Magazine’s “GenerationNEXT: Savannah’s Rising Stars of Business.”  The list of 21 honorees was published in the March 2012 issue.
In the magazine, the honorees are described as individuals younger than 40 years old who “have distinguished themselves by their professional achievements as well as their philanthropic service within Savannah and the Coastal Empire.”  
Thomas’s achievements include rebranding of the Thunderbird Inn as a Southern retro motel and championing awareness for Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, the Downtown Savannah Business and Savannah Chamber of Commerce.
