Elmgren’s Services Garden Center cut the ribbon on its new location today, kicking off a weekend of grand opening events.

The center, located at 30 Cherokee Street on Highway 144 in Richmond Hill, will also host a “mini-reception” for Arts on the Coast artists today from 4:30-7:30 p.m. – which will include drinks, win and light eats.

Visitors can register for raffle items, including $50 gift certificates and a fire pit kit provided by Low Country Pavers. There will also be tricks or treats for the kids.

Saturday’s grand opening celebration begins at 9 a.m. with an opportunity to meet vendorssuch as Low Country Pavers and GroSouth. Bryan County News columnist and Georgia Extension Agent Dr. Don Gardner will host a Q&A session and give planting demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
