From the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office reports

Sept. 4: At the Dispatch Office, an unknown woman dropped off an assortment of items she said were found at Tivoli Marsh. The woman did not give any of her personal information.

The only information retrieved was her phone number from when she called while still at Tivoli Marsh. The items were a small, fixed blade knife, an iPhone, a set of keys, an ashtray, a red smoking pipe and three bottles.

Inside the bottles were suspected butane hash oil due to the labeling of the bottle.

Sept. 4: The complainant reports that he lost his concealed carry weapon card. He had been looking for it for some time now and stated he “turned his house upside down” to try to find it but has been unsuccessful. He has an expired CCW card with a barcode number. He noticed his new one was missing when he went to buy a new handgun.

Sept. 4: A woman stopped by the South Bryan Sheriff ’s Office to report her missing license plate decal. She stated that the decal was on the counter in her home and must have been placed into the trash by mistake.

Sept. 5: Driver placed under arrest for driving with a suspended license.

Sept. 5: Deputy responds to the area of Laurel Oak Drive for a suspicious vehicle. A white BMW was on the wrong side of the roadway, blocking traffic.

The deputy observed a man passed out at the wheel with the vehicle running, in neutral; the passenger-side window was down. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence, and also charged for improper parking as well as driving on the wrong side of the roadway.

Sept. 6: Deputy observed a vehicle switch from the left lane to the right lane with no turn signal. The driver, when asked, said he did not have a driver’s license. The driver was placed under arrest for driving without a license, and was also charged for failing to signal while changing lanes.

Sept. 6: Deputy reports to a residence regarding an item stolen from a vehicle. The complainant stated that about a week and a half ago, his house was struck by lightning during a storm. When his house was struck, it took out many items in his home, including his security camera system, so he had no video to provide.

Parked in his driveway was a white pickup truck; the bed of the truck had a cover on top of it that would slide open, and the complainant noticed this morning, as he was walking out to his backyard, that the back of his truck was left open about 12 inches. He stated the only thing he noticed missing was an electric air compressor made by Makita that was about a year old and possibly worth 100 to $200.

Sept. 7: Deputies respond to a verbal dispute between a couple; Complainant reports that, while he was at work, his wife had damaged his doorbell camera. He explained that he and his wife had been having a disagreement about their truck and the payments being made for it.

Sept. 7: Two complainants report several individuals in the field across from their house firing weapons. They stated that multiple bb’s had struck their vehicles and house.

The individuals firing were found to be hunting doves on private property. No injuries were reported.
