Bryan County High School JROTC instructor Lt. Col. Michael Hampton recently had praise for cadet Gerardo Escamlia: “As the leader of Bryan County High School JROTC Raider Team, Gerardo Escamelia played a significant role in the success for our overall team. His tenacity and overall leadership is inspirational and infectious throughout our program.

Gerardo is truly an extension of our administration and staff on and off the field. His hard-work, commitment and dedication to our program yielded great outcomes throughout our season despite the challenges and difficulties we faced within our program and he overcame as an individual. Our male Raider team finished third in the region and our female Raider team finished third in the state."
