Name: Santana Browne
Age: 29
Title: Founder of Santana Socials - Content Creation and Social Media Manager for Business Owners; Current Vice President of Buy Local Bryan
Background: “Born and raised in Richmond Hill, I earned my BBA in accounting with a minor in criminal justice from Georgia Southern University. My professional journey began at the Ford Field & River Club, where I’ve proudly worked for the past 10 years while building my career. After moving into banking, I discovered a passion for mortgage lending and now serve as a mortgage loan originator with SWBC Mortgage, helping individuals and families achieve homeownership. I’m also the founder of Santana Socials, a content creation and social media management company supporting local businesses. In January 2026, I helped launch Buy Local Bryan as a founding board member and now serve as vice president, working to strengthen and connect our small business community.”
Future: “Being named to Bryan County News’s 20 Under 40 is incredibly humbling because this community is home. Richmond Hill helped shape who I am, and the opportunities I’ve had here have been rooted in people and relationships. I currently work in mortgage lending, and I’m passionate about helping families achieve homeownership, while also finding real purpose in supporting small businesses and local growth.
Helping launch Buy Local Bryan, where I now serve as vice president, has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I also own Santana Socials, a content creation and social media management company that allows me to help local businesses tell their stories and connect with their communities. Looking ahead, I want to keep growing in ways that serve both people and community, and I hope my daughters see in that a model of hard work, service, and heart. This recognition isn’t just a celebration of what’s behind me, it’s motivation for what’s next.”
