RICHMOND A world in which one must choose between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton for president is not a world worth living for.

At least thats according to the family of a Virginia woman, who passed away over the weekend at the age of 68.

Faced with the prospect of voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, Mary Anne Noland of Richmond chose, instead, to pass into the eternal love of God, Nolands obituary reads. The cheeky remembrance published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch was written by one of Nolands three sons, according to NBC12.

Nolands husband of 48 years Jim Noland told NBC12 the obituary wasnt meant to be a political statement, but rather, a lighthearted way to honor his late wifes sense of humor. He said hes sure shes getting a kick out of all the attention up in heaven.

Nolan died of complications stemming from a long battle with lung cancer. The retired nurse was a devoted grandmother to 10 grandchildren.
