Fort McAllister will host a Valentine’s Dinner and Dance on Saturday.

The dinner and dance will provide a chance for history lovers to gather together at the 1,725-acre Georgia state park for a romantic evening. The night will consist of a roast dinner for two under the candlelight at the Civil War site, a tour of the fort, and Civil War singing and dancing, followed by a night-time cannon firing.

It runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and costs $50 per couple.
