SE Ga. Career Fair set for May 16

SAVANNAH — Savannah Technical College is partnering with the Georgia Department of Labor and Georgia Department of Labor Veteran’s Service to host the Southeast Georgia Career Fair from 2-6 p.m. on May 16 at the Savannah Tech Eckburg Auditorium, 5717 White Bluff Road, Savannah.

More than 80 companies will meet with prospective employees at the fair, which is free to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes and questions for prospective employers.

The fair is an opportunity for job seekers to learn what employers seek and to find out about current/future openings and how to apply.

Companies expected to attend include: Aeroteck; Air National Guard; Golden Corral; Briggs and Stratton; CareMaster Medical Services; Carolina Handling; Chatham Area Transit; Chatham County M/WBE Program; Hunt Group; Chatham County Sheriff’s Office; and Georgia Army National Guard.

Also, Georgia Pacific; Georgia Ports Authority; Georgia Southern University; Gulfstream; Memorial Medical; Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas; Neurological Institute of Savannah & Center; Newell Recycling; Westin Savannah Harbor Resort; and many more.
