Romance author to speak in Savannah

SAVANNAH — Best-selling author Nicholas Sparks will speak at 6 p.m. Oct. 8 at Trustees Theater in a special appearance sponsored by the Savannah Book Festival.
Sparks is the author of 11 New York Times No. 1 best-selling books, including “The Notebook,” “Message in a Bottle” and “The Last Song.” He is visiting Savannah as part of a national tour for his new book, “The Longest Ride.”
