Literary festival in Hinesville Saturday

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Chi Pi Zeta Chapter will host its first Ladies of the Dove Literary Festival from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday Lewis Frasier Middle School in Hinesville.
The festival is to showcase published, self-published, local and independent authors as well as introduce young adults to the literary world.  
The festival, which will be free and open to the public, will feature 20 author appearances and book signings, information, novel/poetry readings, panel discussions and hands-on projects for children.
The keynote speaker will be author Kendra Norman-Bellamy, author of 13 novels including “One Prayer Away,” “The Lyons Den,” “The Morning After” and “Song of Solomon.”
Also scheduled will be the winners of our essay contest, ranging in age from 8 -17, who will read their work and receive cash prizes.
Founded in 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority’s national and local programs include endowment of its National Educational Foundation, community outreach and support of multiple affiliate organizations.
