At its first meeting in April at the Richmond Hill City Center, the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill presented its monthly junior rotarian award to Dominique Brown, a student at Richmond Hill High School.
Helen Herndon, principal at the school, said, “I first met Dominique when she came to Bryan County in the 8th Grade and now she is a senior at our high school.  Dominique has set herself goals and steadily achieved them – she has won scholarships to attend Armstrong University to study nursing.  She excels academically with average grades over 90 and is especially talented in Biology and PE.  She has also been given Good Conduct awards and is a medal winning member of our Drill Team.”
Bill Eberlein, Rotary president and CEO of Megateeth Fossils, said “The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill has made a commitment to support young people this year with the `Junior Rotarian of the Month’ award along with our annual `Youth Leadership’ Award to inspire young people to be the very best they can be at school, in our community, with their families and throughout their lives.”
