Oct. 20: Reading to dogs – Mako, Nero and Scout, certified therapy dogs, will be all ears at the Richmond Hill Public Library from 4-5 p.m. each Thursday. Mainstreet yard sale – Head over to the Mainstreet subdivision (off Frances Meeks Way) for their annual yard sale. The community-wide sale will take place from 8 a.m. to noon. See what treasures you can find!

Candle lantern tour – Join historical experts and Civil War re-enactors at Fort McAllister as they bring back a bygone era.
