June 2: Richmond Hill Historical Society meeting  – Writer and producer Arcelious Daniels presents a screening of the award-winning documentary “Stubborn as a Mule,” about the “40 acres and a mule” reparations made to freed slaves after the Civil War at this month’s meeting. Screening will begin at 7 p.m. at the museum (corner of Ford Ave. and Timber Trail) and there will be a question and answer session with the directors afterwards. Kids Fishing Derby – The 21st annual Kids Fishing Derby, presented by the Richmond Hill Exchange Club, will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Richmond Hill Fish Hatchery on Hwy. 144.
