April 4: History lecture  – Chris Hendricks, historian and professor at Armstrong Atlantic State University, will discuss Savannah and its historic architecture at 7 p.m. at the Richmond Hill Museum.  The public is invited to attend. Park volunteer day  – Fort McAllister State Historic Park will celebrate the 16th annual Park Day by cleaning and restoring the historic park grounds starting at 9 a.m. Volunteers are needed to help. For more information, please call the park office at 727-2339.

Farmers market  – Check out fresh local produce, crafts, prepared food and entertainment from 3-7 p.m. in the J.F. Gregory Park pavilion in Richmond Hill. The market will be held in all weather conditions, and leashed pets are welcome.
