Nov. 28-29: Movie Night Under the Stars — The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill invites the community to a free family fun night of movie watching under the stars. Friday evening’s showing will be a PG-rated movie, and Saturday night’s movie will be rated G. The movies will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs. Nov. 29
Small Business Saturday — The Chamber of Commerce, city of Richmond Hill and Richmond Hill Convention and Visitors Bureau are hosting Small Business Saturday to help businesses with their most pressing need — getting more customers. The day encourages the community to shop locally the Saturday after Thanksgiving. American Express has provided the chamber with Small Business Saturday goodies to give out to participating businesses. For more information, call the chamber at 756-3444.

Nov. 29-Dec. 18
“Light-Up the Hill” Holiday Decorating Contest — To entice people to shop, dine and play locally, the Chamber of Commerce is having a store-front decorating contest for all businesses. A voting contest will take place on the Holly Days on the Hill Facebook page.  First place will receive two sponsor tent passes and one parking pass for Friday and Saturday of the 2015 Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival. Second place will receive $100 cash or a donation to a charity. Third place will receive a case of wine. For more information, call the chamber at 756-3444.

Dec. 3
Coffee & Conversation — The RHBC Chamber will host this event from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the chamber office. Bryan County Schools Superintendent Dr. Paul Brooksher will speak about the new McAllister Elementary School, which is scheduled to be completed in August 2015. This event is free to chamber members and $15 for non-members. Advance registration is required and seating is limited. For more information or to register, call 756-3444.

Dec. 4
Business After Hours — Home of Integrity Construction will host the Business After Hours from 5:30-7 p.m., at Creekside at the Richmond Hill Plantation, located at 130 Smoke Rise Road. The event will include an oyster roast and bonfire. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.
