The Hawaiian Luau Yappy Hour to benefit the Bryan County Bark Park is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Fish Tales Restaurant at Fort McAllister Marina.

June 25: Hawaiian Luau Yappy Hour  — From 6-8 p.m., at the Fish Tales Restaurant at the Fort McAllister Marina the community and their dogs are invited to the Yappy Hour Hawaiian fancy dress dog competition. A beer tasting will be provided by Southern Eagle, and dogs can enjoy doggie smoothies for $3 for a small cup or $4 for large cups. Smoothie flavors include tropical honey or peanut butter blueberry. There will be giveaways from Fish Tales, Southern Eagle and the Bryan County Bark Park Association, as well as an opportunity to enter your dog for the best Hawaiian costume competition. Prizes will be awarded at 8 p.m., by the judges.

June 28
U.S. Army Soldier Show — From 7-9 p.m., at the Newman Fitness Center at Fort Stewart, all are invited to a family-friendly, live Army musical production of “Stand Strong” that showcases the talents of active duty, Army Reserve and Army National Guard soldiers from throughout the Army. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend. For more information, call 767-6212.

Movie Night Under the Stars — The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill invites the community to a free family fun night of movie watching under the stars. The movie will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring a lawn chair. Visit the The Ice Cream Stop’s Facebook page for more information.

Swedish Youth Gospel Choir Performance  – At 7 p.m., the newly renovated Mars Theater will host the Swedish Youth Gospel Choir – Canticum – during their U.S. tour. The 45 young adults are coming to Savannah as a part of their multi-city U.S. tour. They will perform a range of gospel, classical and contemporary Christian music. The event is sponsored by The Maritime Bethel of Savannah, and tickets are free with an optional donation. Tickets and information can be found at www.maritimebethelatsavannah.org.

Richmond Hill Farmer’s Market — Stop by the farmer’s market between 3-7 p.m., at the pavilion at the J.F. Gregory Park. A variety of produce and local crafts will be available for purchase.
