June 14: Teen night under the stars — Jump N’ Jacks offers a night of movies, music and dancing for Bryan County teens from 7:30-11 p.m. each Friday. Kids of all ages are welcome for pizza, soda, movies and games. The cost is $20 for admission and includes pizza, soda and a $10 game card.
Father’s Day Food, Fishing and Antique Auto Cruise-in —Join the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens (formerly Bamboo Farms) and the Antique Auto Club of Savannah and Dixieland Cruisers for an old-fashioned cruise-in from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be catch-and-release fishing and a lunch at the lakeside pavilion. The cost is $10 per vehicle and a fee for lunch, but everything else is free. Proceeds benefit construction of the Children’s Garden.
Father’s Day concert featuring Kevin Bales — Treat Dad to a night he’ll never forget, especially if he loves Jazz. From 5 p.m. to midnight at the Savannah Westin Resort, Kevin Bales will show why he became captivated by both the improvisational freedom and the corresponding challenges that jazz puts forth. Once a computer programmer, Bales has since declared a total commitment to what would become his life’s work in the pursuit of jazz excellence.
