Fort Morris State Historic Site will hold Moon Over the Medway beginning at 9 p.m. March 31 at the historic site, 2559 Fort Morris Road, Midway.

Stay out a little later and view an astronomical event, the fourth full moon in three months. Site staff will be available after hours for gazing up at the full moon as it rises over the Medway River. Interesting facts about the moon will also be shared.

A high-powered telescope will be available to check out the moon’s seas and craters. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy this astronomical evening.

The cost is $3-$4.50, and the event is weather dependent.

For more information, contact site manager Arthur Edgar at 912-884-5999.
