The Richmond Hill City Center recently announced Festive Fridays, a new initiative from 5-7 p.m. each second and third Friday beginning this month.
The evening will feature discounted drinks, free snacks and entertainment.
Each event will raise money for a different local charity.
The first event, set for Sept. 12, will aid the Bryan County Bark Park, which is set to open in October. Attendees can enter a raffle for a basket of Bark Park goodies and enjoy special dog themed cocktails for $8 each or $22 for three. The City Center will donate 20 percent of the night’s proceeds to the Bark Park.
Cocktails developed by the City Center include:
• The “Woof-itjo” — a mojito-style drink with vodka, triple sec and lemonade, served with locally grown fresh mint and blueberries
• The “Paw-punch” — a light punch drink with gin, melon liqueur and triple sec, served with fresh fruit
• The “Bark-a-tini” — a dessert-style cocktail with vodka, espresso, Godiva chocolate and cream, served with whipped cream and chocolate
Festive Fridays are available for sponsorship. For more information, go to richmondhillcitycenter.com.
