Remember to appreciate God's creation
pastor corner

The Bible begins by saying, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth.” Have you ever taken the time to look and appreciate the things God has created?
When I was younger, I took all these things for granted, never stopping long enough to enjoy creation’s beauty. Now, as I am getting older (notice I didn’t say old), I notice things and appreciate them.
For instance, when was the last time you looked up in the sky on a cloudless night and gazed at the millions of stars, seeing how they seem to go on forever? As I look out my office window, I see beauty in the trees waving in the breeze and the green grass blanketing the landscape. I step outside and see squirrels scampering up trees and hear birds singing their songs of praise.
So each day, as you step out to begin a new adventure, take a little time to stop and notice what God has created for your enjoyment, and whisper a big “thank you” to the one responsible.
