The YMCA of Richmond Hill recieved financial support from the Exchange Club of Richmond Hill during the club's recent meeting in the City Center.

Richmond Hill Exchange Club President Bob Mock presented a $300 donation to YMCA volunteer Lee Ergle and YMCA Executive Director Mary Arocha.

“For more than 20 years, the Exchange Club of Richmond Hill has been proud to offer financial support to the local chapter of the YMCA,” said Exchange Club member Lynn Bennett. “The primary aim of that support has been to provide scholarships for children in South Bryan County that might not otherwise have the resources to attend summer camp and other great programs offered by the Y.”

Support of the local YMCA is just one of many community service activities supported by the Richmond Hill Exchange Club. Some of the other ongoing programs include Child Abuse Prevention, RHHS Students of the Month and Student of the Year, Public Safety Officers of the Year recognition, annual Kid’s Fishing Derby, Freedom Shrines in all public schools in South Bryan, support for the Veterans Memorial, publication of the Bryan County School Calendar, and many others.
