Elizabeth “Lizzy” Claggett and her horse won several awards Labor Day weekend in the Georgia Federation Horse Show.
She won highest points overall for horsemanship and placed second in Western Horsemanship; second in Western Pleasure; second in English Pleasure; second in English Equitation; and fifth in Western walk-trot.
Lizzy is a student at Richmond Hill Middle School, where she plays clarinet and bass clarinet with the Wildcat Winds.
