Ron and Joni Brooker of Brunswick would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristin Nicole, to 3rd Class Petty Officer Jason Lane Ernst, son of Teresa Cook Ernst and the late Larry Ernst of Pembroke.
Nicole is the granddaughter of Malone and Nora Stewart of Hazlehurst and the late Owen Amos of Darien and Bill and Rita Morgan of Dalton, Ga. and the late Linton Brooker of Brunswick. She is a 2006 graduate of Glynn Academy in Brunswick and a 2010 graduate of College of Coastal Georgia, Brunswick, with a degree in nursing.
Jason is the grandson of Jimmy and Judy Cook of Pembroke and the late Edward and Beulah Ernst of Claxton. He is a 2005 Honor Graduate of Bryan County High School and attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. He is currently enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, and is stationed in Anchorage, Alaska.
A July wedding is planned.
