Oral cancer is most typically thought to be caused by smoking and tobacco use, but there are many other causes that are often ignored. A growing number of young adults have been diagnosed with oral cancer due to HPV. According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, more than 43,000 people will be diagnosed with oral cancer this year.
