Beulah Baptist Church in Pembroke is having a revival at 7 nightly through Aug. 22. The Rev. Brad Butler will bring the message and homecoming is at 11 a.m. Aug. 25, followed by lunch and special music.

Homebuyer seminar
Keller Williams Realty and Fairway Independent Mortgage will host a free homebuyer seminar from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce at 2591 Highway 17, Suite 100.
Seminar topics will include: a housing market update; buying a home in Georgia; FHA/VA, USDA and conventional loans; and more. Attendees will also be able to pre-qualify for a new home purchase, get up-to-date home listings and learn about finance options.

Volunteers needed
The Fort McAllister Sport Fishing Club is looking for inshore and offshore captains and boats for its annual Wounded Warrior Fishing Tournament set for Sept. 28 at Fort McAllister Marina. Volunteers may sign up at www.woundedwarriorfishing.com.
Those who would like to sponsor a boat to help with fuel costs or donate any supplies, food or funds for the soldiers, captains or the Family Appreciation Day set for Sept. 21 should call 912-308-3774.

Citizen academy
The Bryan Emergency Services is accepting applications to the Citizen Emergency Services Academy.
The eight-week program will meet every Thursday evening from 7-10 p.m. Sept. 5-Oct. 31 at 5995 Highway 204 N. in Ellabell.
Each participant must be 18 years of age or older, a resident of Bryan County and in good physical condition.

Fun-shoot fundraiser
The inaugural “Shoot to Kill Cancer” sporting-clays fun shoot will begin at 8 a.m. Sept. 14 at the Dorchester Shooting Preserve, 2640 Sunbury Road in Midway.
The event will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk. Registration is $125 per shooter or $500 per team, which includes a golf cart and lunch. Registration deadline is Aug. 30.
